Terms of serviceTerms of service.
These terms govern your use of Got Proof evidence workspaces, logbooks, reminders, and export packs.
1. Service
Got Proof provides digital evidence workspaces, logbooks, reminders, action tracking, and export tools for UK-focused property, business, charity, event, care, animal, food, digital, and site records. The service helps organise user-provided information and does not provide legal, regulatory, safety, medical, or professional advice.
2. Account and access
You are responsible for keeping your account, email, OAuth login, and any access links secure. You are also responsible for the accuracy, lawfulness, and completeness of the information you enter or upload.
3. Payment
Prices are shown in GBP. Payments and billing are processed by Stripe. Subscription plans renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. One-off packs provide access to the purchased pack or setup flow described at checkout.
4. Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel a subscription through the billing or support route made available to you. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds for unused subscription periods or one-off purchases are considered case by case.
5. Acceptable use
You must not use Got Proof to create fraudulent records, misrepresent evidence, bypass a legal duty, or produce documents for unlawful purposes. We may suspend access where misuse, fraud, abuse, or security risk is suspected.
6. Evidence and compliance limits
Got Proof can help show what you entered, when records were created, what actions were open or closed, and what evidence was attached. It does not certify that a property, business, event, animal activity, care setting, food operation, or other activity is legally compliant.
7. Intellectual property and user data
The Got Proof product, templates, UI, and generated structure belong to Got Proof. The factual records, files, and evidence you enter remain yours, subject to the rights needed for us to host, process, secure, and export them for the service.
8. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Got Proof is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or business-interruption losses arising from use of the service or reliance on generated documentation. Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law does not allow it to be limited.
9. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms as the service develops. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales.
